This week sees the end of On-entry assessments for our pre-primary children. The children have been very eager to participate and teachers have been able to moderate their judgements of the children’s literacy and numeracy levels against the state benchmarks. It has been great to see each child’s areas of strength and learn more about the areas that need a little more work as this assists our individualised planning for each child.
At the end of playtime Deb from Dolphins has been teaching the children to sing Advance Australia Fair, in preparation for when we return to participating in full school meetings. We are all looking forward to things getting back to normal as quickly as possible so that our fortnightly school meetings and end of term meetings can be enjoyed by all again.
