This term Middle School students have been involved in their new Occupations. They have been immersed into the world of Science through their choice of Astronomy, Zoology and Outdoor Adventures.

Earlier in the term Zoology students who are focusing on animal studies, visited the Rockingham Regional Environmental Centre, volunteering their time to help feed some of the local reptiles and amphibians. They were given a guided Nature Walk around the local fauna friendly gardens and discussed information from all areas of the centre.

Astronomy students are currently delving into physics through the study of the universe, stars, galaxies, solar systems, The Big Bang Theory and observational astronomy.   Students are aiming to go the Observatory in Term 4.

Outdoor Adventurers have been working on woodwork, gardening, biodiversity and ecosystems. Students will be researching and exploring environmental issues, whilst mountain biking and going on nature walks. In addition, they are also looking at our local indigenous culture and their history within our environment.

An exciting semester ahead for all involved!
