RMS primary school was visited by Wyniss, a group of musicians and dancers from the Torres Strait Islands. Wyniss showed us their childhood games like spinning tops string figures, making us laugh and encouraging everyone to join in. We learnt how much fun these games can be but also how important games are as a record of who we are and where we come from. Culture and history are passed on through games, and it was wonderful to learn with Wyniss. Presented by Musica Viva In Schools in conjunction with NAISDA.
