This term in Humanities, we worked on a community service project. There were two groups in Barna Marlak, one of them helped the elderly and the other, my group, decided to help out the Naragebup Environment Centre by fundraising. We set up a stall at the Rotary Markets and managed to sell enough to raise $103 dollars from selling things such as keychains, food, drawings, and more. We attempted this on Sunday and I would say it was a massive success and we all had a lot of fun thanks to the cheerful mood and some friends, including my teacher, Michelle. A few days later, on Friday, the school bus drove my group to the Naragebup Environment Centre and we donated the money. We were invited in and welcomed with the option of holding a python.
