On Tuesday the 26th of March ten selected Middle School students headed off to the Perth Exhibition Centre for the Grip Leadership Student Conference organised by Edith Cowan University. With over 700 students from schools all across the region, students were immersed in fun activities, discussions, presentations and leadership games.

Our students worked with leading experts in the leadership field to understand the skills and qualities needed to be a successful leader. They brainstormed ideas within their role as student leaders at RMS.

The presentations and electives presented on the day were:

  • The People Pathway
  • Character of a Leader
  • How to Involve More People in School Events
  • How to Maximise My Contribution to My Team
  • How to Create an Amazing School Culture
  • How to Choose and Advance a Cause

RMS students had a fantastic time at the conference and it’s exciting to support our next generation of leaders for our school and the wider community.
