It has been a busy term in Children’s House with lots going on over the past few weeks.

There was an incursion of Musica Viva and the children were absolutely immersed in the sounds of the musical instruments.  It was very interactive and the children were excited to be part of the event.

The children have enjoyed celebrating the life of Maria Montessori and had fun building some puzzles of the different jobs in the classrooms.

On International Literacy day, the children brought in their favourite book and dressed up as one of the characters. It was lovely to talk about the different books the children brought in and to share the story with the class. It was great to see some children eager to dress up as construction workers when they were a bit unsure to come dressed up as a book character.

It was great to see many of our dads, mums and families come in on the class open day to share in the lovely experiences the children had to offer in the Children’s House classes.  The children were excited to present lessons and showcase their work in the environment.
