During this term children had an incursion on First Aid from St Johns. Children were educated on how to assist in emergencies, whether at home or at school. The program is built to develop an awareness for children and to be responsible when an emergency occurs. The presenter taught children lifesaving skills on how to call for help when help is needed. The children enjoyed a story on “000 Hero” and were shown how to call 000 for help. They enjoyed the dress-ups of the paramedics. Through movement and dance they made “0” using their arms, legs and body. What a fun day it was!
